About Lutte NB Wrestling
Lutte New Brunswick Wrestling (LNBW) is the provincial sport governing body for Olympic style wrestling in New Brunswick. Our mission is to provide leadership, support and safety for our athletes & other participants in pursuit of national and international podium excellence.
Position Overview
Lutte NB Wrestling is seeking a Performance Coach to lead its Provincial Development Team and Provincial Performance Team programs. The successful candidate will ensure identified athletes receive the necessary support to progress towards national team selection. They will also play a key role in the New Brunswick Performance Pathway Initiative (NBPPI) and help athletes and identified coaches develop in alignment with NBPPI program goals and LNBW organizational goals.
Position: Provincial Performance Coach
Reports To: Executive Director
Location: New Brunswick
Hours: 17.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required
Duration: Part-time, four-year contract (possibility of renewal)
Salary: $30,000 per year

Travel Reimbursement: Pre-approved travel and mileage expenses reimbursed according to internal policies
Key Responsibilities
The Provincial Performance Coach will be responsible for:
Creating and executing a Yearly Training Plan (YTP) for the Provincial Development Team and Provincial Performance Team programs within New Brunswick
Working closely with the Executive Director of LNBW and coordinating with the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic (CSIA) sport science staff to run group and individual sessions
Attending LNBW Sanctioned Events and visit LNBW Member Clubs across the province to support club coaches and assess Daily Training Environment (DTE) needs
Identifying and developing/mentoring new wrestling coaches in New Brunswick
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
Minimum NCCP Competition-Development Certification (or working towards)
Coaching experience at a provincial team performance level
Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
NCCP Safe Sport Training and signatory of the Universal Code of Conduct for Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS)
Valid Driver’s License
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Bilingualism is an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to apply critical thinking in high-pressure situations
Proven ability to address and manage conflict
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) or Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
