ParticipACTION is seeking a dynamic and visionary President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through a pivotal period of transformation and growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a well-established non-profit dedicated to promoting physical activity across Canada. The CEO will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision, restructuring and diversifying the funding model, and ensuring the organization’s impact aligns with new funding options.
The ideal candidate for the CEO position will be a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to inspire and connect with internal and external stakeholders. They will have strong relationship-building skills and advocacy experience, along with a solid understanding of financial management and resource allocation. They will be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to thrive in dynamic environments. They will have a genuine interest in promoting physical activity, strong problem-solving skills, and innovative approaches to enhance impact and explore growth opportunities.
