The Ontario Soccer Board of Directors is comprised of twelve (12) Directors including a Chair and
Vice-Chair, five (5) Regional Directors and five (5) Independent Directors, all elected by the Voting
Members (District Associations) with support from the independent Nominations Committee of
Ontario Soccer.
The Board of Directors do not duplicate the role of Ontario Soccer’s executive management; the
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the day-to-day business of Ontario Soccer and
the implementation of strategy and policies adopted by the Board of Directors.

APPLICATION/ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for only one (1) position on the Board of
Directors (forms can be found HERE). To be eligible, candidates must submit a COMPLETE EOI
application package consisting of the following five (5) mandatory items:
Required Documents:
- Appendix A – Expression of Interest Form
- Appendix B – Skills and Competency Form
- Appendix C – Nomination Form (Note: Voting Members can nominate more than one candidate)
- Brief résumé (maximum two pages) outlining your soccer/sporting and professional/business background
- References or endorsements from at least two (2) individuals (not related to you) who have known you for a minimum of five (5) years
- Additional Documents:
- Self-Identification Form (voluntary)
- Police Record Check – Facilitated by Ontario Soccer, if required
- Submission Deadline: Submitted electronically on or before Saturday, July 19, 2025.
- Candidates EOI application package must be submitted to Elections@ontariosoccer.net. All
application forms can be found HERE. A confirmation email will be sent in response to confirm
that a candidate’s EOI package has been received and is complete. Please note that late
applications will not be considered.
