We are thrilled to be hosting Bruce Kidd, PhD for an engaging talk building off his recent book: ‘Educating the Body: why physical education is needed more than ever’. His talk will cover topics including promoting sport and physical activity for all; equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives; and disability and inclusive through adaptive physical activity. Dr. Kidd is a renowned scholar, community activist and seasoned and respected academic leader.
Following this address, will be an interactive poster session. We can learn so much from each other when we listen and share. Whether you are a researcher in the field, a community coach or physical educator who wishes to share best practices, or provincial sport organization representative who aims to inform the field of a new policy change, we want to hear from you—the experts!
