From the “Why” to the “How” of Change
On Wednesday, March 19th, MLSE Foundation’s Change the Game research team is inviting youth sport, development and safe sport leaders, researchers and policymakers to MLSE LaunchPad for a day of learning and active engagement in developing case studies of change.
In collaboration with the University of Toronto Center for Sport Policy Studies and with support from the Abuse Free Sport Canada Research Program, join us for an active morning start with Change the Game partners, a networking lunch surrounded by interactive exhibits, and engaging workshops throughout the day.
From engagement strategies for retaining young women and girls in sport, to coaching for life skills across the ability spectrum, implementing inclusive intramurals in schools, retaining and valuing volunteer coaches and optimizing a team and club culture – workshops will engage participants in activities to co-create new knowledge and next steps on five key issues on the path toward a braver, safer, and more positive future for youth in sport.
