The ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® is the pinnacle junior figure skating competition of the year. It is an annual event that moves around the globe and is hosted each year by a different skating federation. Skate Canada has a long history of hosting ISU events, having previously hosted the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships® five times since the events’ inception in 1976. This is the first time that the competition will be hosted in Calgary and the first time it will be hosted in western Canada. |
