Athletic Taping Course

Led by a Certified Athletic Therapist or Sports Physiotherapist, this course will introduce participants to common athletic taping techniques through a combination of lecture and practical components. Safety consideration and theory are covered, followed by taping techniques and relevant anatomy for injuries related to the foot, ankle, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, thumb, and fingers. 

This course is an excellent baseline for any individual looking into assist athletes with injury prevention, management and support during return-to-play following injury. Participants are encouraged to wear athletic clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt. 

* This course is approved for 7.0 BCRPA, 7.0 PE/A2 CMTBA, and 3.0 PD NCCP Continuing Education Credits. *
