Swim BC is pleased to invite you to take part in the 2025 BC Swimming Congress, taking place October 2–5, 2025, at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond, British Columbia.
This event is the province’s leading professional development and leadership gathering for the competitive swimming community. The Congress brings together club leaders, coaches, officials, and sport administrators to collaborate, learn, and collectively raise the standard of swimming across British Columbia.
Open to both members and non-members of Swim BC, the Congress welcomes anyone passionate about advancing competitive swimming in the province.
Guided by Swim BC’s mission to enrich the competitive swimming experience for all members, the Congress fosters meaningful dialogue, encourages innovation, and strengthens the capacity of both individuals and organizations to lead with impact.
Program highlights include:
- BC Swim Coaches Conference – Technical coaching sessions, athlete development strategies, and performance planning featuring world-renowned coaches and speakers.
- Stroke School – Applied instruction on technique and mechanics, designed to directly impact athlete outcomes.
- Club Development Series – Designed to strengthen club operations through sessions on governance, effective communication, conflict resolution, and complaint management.
- Women in Coaching Luncheon – Networking and mentorship opportunities for women in the coaching profession. * Separate Registration Required.
- Officials Symposium – A collaborative forum to enhance the quality, consistency, and alignment of officiating across the province.
- Swim BC Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Team Aquatic Supplies Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet – A celebration recognizing the achievements and contributions of individuals and clubs within our swimming community.
