We invite you to join us for our sport summit, Creating Diverse and Inclusive Sport Environments, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, where we will collaborate to gain a deeper understanding of the lived experiences in sport and the barriers to participation faced by marginalized communities.

This year’s Sport Summit will use a facilitated workshop format to allow participants to answer the following key questions:

  • What are the lived experiences in sport of marginalized communities in Ottawa?
  • What are the barriers to participation faced by marginalized communities in sport in Ottawa?
  • What information, resources, and support do community sport organizations need to create positive and meaningful sport experiences for marginalized communities?
