The postponement of Tokyo 2020 saved the Paralympic dream of Canadian wheelchair racer Jessica Frotten. The first-time Paralympian was all set to compete in 2020, but her custom-built racing wheelchair was stolen shortly before the Paralympics were due to startWith support from her Regina community and a U.S.-based company, she received a new wheelchair in time to train for the postponed Paralympics. Frotten will be racing in five events at Tokyo (100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, and 5000m). The T53 100m final is set to happen on Wednesday at 07:37 AM EST.
