Research from the University of Buffalo demonstrated that “doing something is better than nothing” when considering the impact of physical activity on prolonging life for older women. Women who participated in 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity (brisk walking or leisurely bicycling) had a 39% lower mortality risk.
