#BridgesofBelonging features vulnerable conversations with leaders who share their journeys of belonging, and not belonging. These sessions aim to elevate the diversity and inclusion conversations and remind us that we are talking about people, and creating spaces and places for people to belong.

Marni Abbott-Peter enjoyed a distinguished career as one of the premier wheelchair basketball players in the world. A former athlete turned coach, she is a leader and advocate for Paralympic sport both on and off the court. With her playing days behind her, Marni now focuses on giving back to the wheelchair basketball community with her current role as the Let’s Play program director for the BC Wheelchair Basketball Society. Her main focus is now on physical literacy and providing opportunities for children with disabilities in BC.

Stuart McReynolds is a passionate advocate and champion for inclusion and is committed to challenging society’s perceptions towards persons with disabilities and marginalized groups, and in positioning the true value of inclusion for all members of society. With extensive years of senior-level experience working in inclusion initiatives in Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Europe, Stuart brings a unique global perspective to his current responsibilities a President & CEO at Abilities Centre.
