Bridges of Belonging Conversation Features Paralympic Champions Michelle Stilwell and Joey Johnson

Michelle Stilwell and Joey Johnson will be featured as the guests on Bridges of Belonging on July 8th. The Bridges of Belonging conversations have been surfacing important conversation about how we take person-centered approaches in our organizations, and feature leaders with diverse backgrounds who are champions of diversity, inclusion and systems change. Michelle is six time Paralympic Gold Medalist in both Athletics and Wheelchair Basketball, and is serving her second term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for Parksville-Qualicum. Joey is considered one of the best Wheelchair Basketball power players in the world, winning three gold medals and one silver medal as well as a world championship title. This conversation will focus on their experiences as athletes, leaders in their sports and communities, and what they feel the changes to Wheelchair Basketball classification will mean for the sport, and belonging through the sport.
