Lethbridge Sport Council recently release this email with 3 posts that are relevant during the COVID-19 Pandemic and resulting isolation and stay at home protocols.
1. Families are looking for ways to stay active at home and in their community, while still practicing social distancing. Active@Home is a list of local organizations and businesses (and non-local related organizations) who are offering active living, active recreation and sport opportunities in alternate ways such as providing on-line resources, Facebook Live or YouTube videos
2. Lethbridge Sport Council along with everyone else has been canceling previously scheduled events as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. To support our Sport Organization Member Board of Directors and coaches, we have compiled a list of sport and related online education and training courses, webinars, and workshops that are free or low cost.
3. Stay Active in April is a list of 30 activities that can be done at home, with little to no equipment, and lets you maintain social distancing. We hope you give them a try! We’ll also be sharing an activity each day on our Facebook page
