Ontario Soccer – Bill Manning joins Soccer Now panel for Ontario Soccer Summit 2019 

The President of Toronto FC will discuss, with other soccer leaders, the state of the game in Ontario and Canada

Vaughan, ON – Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Manning, Toronto FC President, at the 2019 Ontario Soccer Summit, presented by Respect in Sport. 

Manning will join the Soccer Now panel on March 1, which will feature voices from the local, provincial, national and continental perspectives.

On the panel will be Jason deVos (Director of Development, Canada Soccer), Ian Campbell (Owner and CEO, FC London), Diego Moratorio (General Manager, MLS Canada) and Roy Nasrala (Vice President of Marketing, Canadian Premier League) as they discuss the state of the game in Ontario and Canada.

“As the Premier Partner of Ontario Soccer, we’re very happy to have Toronto FC represented on our Soccer Now panel,” said Johnny Misley, Chief Executive Officer of Ontario Soccer. “Manning and Toronto FC are leaders of professional soccer supporting grassroots development and Bill’s insights into the game will be invaluable for our membership.”  

Over 500 delegates from across the province will attend this year’s sold-out Ontario Soccer Summit, March 1-3, 2019 in London, ON, for the premier development opportunity for personal and professional growth in soccer.

Headlining this year’s event are three keynote speakers in John Herdman (the Canadian Men’s National team Head Coach), legendary match official Howard Webb (General Manager of the Professional Referee Organization) and Nancy Spotton (the CEO and Co-Founder of MPWR) who is powering the next generation of trailblazers in sport.

Additionally there are 27 other speakers and that will be available to all 2019 delegates at this year’s host venues, Wolf Performance Hall and BMO Centre in London. As well there is a second panel that will have an important discussion about Keeping Girls in Sport.

With the event sellout announced last week, ticket sales are now closed and there will be no walk up sales on the weekend of the Ontario Soccer Summit.
