Name: Paralympic Foundation of Canada One-Day Volunteers needed in Vancouver
About the ParaTough Cup
The ParaTough Cup is the signature fundraising event of the Paralympic Foundation of Canada. It is a half-day corporate challenge that is a combination of a fundraiser and sport competition. On event day teams of six to eight compete in three Para sports (wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and para ice hockey) and have the opportunity to network with Paralympians through a fireside chat. The ParaTough Cup began with an event in Toronto in 2017 and since then has grown to include editions in Vancouver, Calgary, and Montréal, raising nearly $2.5 Million in the process.
The Paralympic Foundation of Canada is looking for volunteers to join us on October 17 at the Richmond Olympic Oval to help the event run smoothly. There are several needs for our event day with various shift lengths pending roles and responsibilities:
- Event Set-up / event clean-up
- Greeting
- Participant Check-In / Registration
- Activity Leaders
- Time/Scorekeepers
We hope you will join us at the Richmond Olympic Oval on October 17, 2025!
