Ontario is home to the largest number of Ninja Athletes in Canada, located in the heart of one of North America’s most active Ninja regions. While recent efforts in Canada have focused heavily on developing elite athletes, Ninja Obstacle Sports Ontario (NOSO) is committed to ensuring that all participants — beginners, recreational athletes, and competitive ninjas — have the opportunity to grow and thrive in the sport.
At NOSO, our mission is clear: Grow the sport of Ninja Obstacle regionally, nationally, and globally. We proudly support a community of 400+ athletes, not just a select few.
Supporting Every Ninja — Our Commitment
To make Ninja accessible to everyone, NOSO has assembled a passionate team of nine dedicated leaders. Together, we are collaborating with Obstacle Sport Canada and other provinces to launch a Canadian National Ninja Championship starting in 2026.
We believe athletes come first, and our league is structured to reflect that.
The NOSO Ninja League & Championship Format
Ninja Obstacle Sports Ontario welcomes athletes from all over Canada and beyond. We feature:
- A dedicated Ontario Ninja leaderboard
- Multiple competitive formats throughout the season
- A season that runs from September to April, ending with the NINJA MANIA Provincial Championships
What is NINJA MANIA?
NINJA MANIA is a multi-level competition that serves as our Provincial Championships, open to both elite and novice ninjas. Highlights include:
- Invitational Division: Top ninjas in each division (exact numbers TBD) compete for titles in:
- Speed
- Endurance
- Head-to-Head
- All-Around Ontario Ninja Champion
- The Top 5 athletes per division qualify for the FINA World Championships in Pennsylvania – July 2026
Novice Division
Our Novice Provincial Championship runs alongside the elite events, offering:
- Speed
- Endurance
- Head-to-Head competitions
- Novice Champion titles
