The University of Waterloo will host the 2025 East-West Bowl on Saturday, May 10, at 12:30 p.m. ET at Warrior Field.
The event features the top 106 Canadian university football players eligible for the 2026 CFL Draft as they look to showcase their skills to coaches, general managers, and personnel from the Canadian Football League. A minimum of three players in their third or fourth year from each of the 27 U SPORTS football programs will attend the game.
The event will also feature a CFL Free Agent Camp (Tuesday, May 6), Kids Fun Camp (Wednesday, May 7) and the East-West Bowl Coaches Clinic on May 9 and 10.
“The Waterloo Warriors, with the support of our Athletic Department, and our football program are excited for the opportunity to host this annual weeklong all-star event for the second year in a row, our goal will be to make it an even better event than last years,” said Warriors head coach Chris Bertoia. “Our intent is for U SPORTS football student-athletes and coaches to once again have an outstanding experience at the University of Waterloo.”
Michael Faulds, head coach of the Uteck Bowl and Yates Cup champion Laurier Golden Hawks, will lead Team West, while Cherif Nicolas, who guided Bishop’s Gaiters to a Loney Bowl title, will take charge of Team East.
