Register for the International Physical Literacy Conference Europe!

Sport for Life Society – Dear Sport for Life Champion,

Have you been waiting for a reason to visit Sweden? Well we have one – join us in Umeå, Sweden from September 10–14 for the inaugural International Physical Literacy Conference (IPLC) Europe!

The early-bird registration rate ends tomorrow, July 5!

IPLC Europe will bring together people from across Europe and beyond to strategize how we can best support the physical literacy journey of all. This will help individuals empower themselves to be better at work, at physical activities and in sport. It will ensure better mental health and happiness, as well as a stronger engagement with community. It is important that each sector plays a role in this journey.

The theme of IPLC Europe 2019 is “Powered by Physical Literacy”, and the conference will feature six topic streams:
  • Education Powered by Physical Literacy
  • Research Powering Physical Literacy
  • Communities Powered by Physical Literacy
  • Environment Powered by Physical Literacy
  • Inclusion Powered by Physical Literacy
  • Sports Powered by Physical Literacy

We have six world-renowned physical literacy experts who will deliver keynote addresses, each on one of the conference streams.

As well, each of the keynote presenters will deliver either an additional pre- or post-conference workshop, taking place on September 10 or 14.

Register for the first-ever IPLC Europe now, and if you have any questions, please contact Claudine Gilbert– claudine@sportforlife.ca.

We look forward to seeing you there!
