Nova Scotia Rowers Prepares for U21 Trans Tasman Regatta in New Zealand Halifax, NS

Sport NS – Rowing – Ben Walls (Halifax) has been named to the Canadian NextGen Team that will compete at the U21 Trans-Tasman Regatta at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand from August 22 to 24. This is Walls’ first selection to a national team and creates a stable platform from which he can climb to the next level of competition. Ben is currently studying and rowing at the University of Victoria.

Ben was selected based on performances at the 2019 Speed Orders and the 2019 NextGen National Team Selection Camp held earlier this summer in Victoria, British Columbia. This event is a valuable component of the Canadian NextGen program, and will provide beneficial developmental and international competition experience for up-and-coming athletes.
