Fast and Female is thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected as the 2024 recipient of the No Small Change Brand Grant from Atom Studio!
Chosen among 57 applicants, the No Small Change Brand Grant is designed to support and address the common challenges nonprofits face in allocating resources for branding versus program delivery.
Fast and Female is poised to re-energize its brand to capture the diverse community we serve and the empowering spirit at the heart of our mission.
“In our 19-year history, Fast and Female has accomplished many things and empowered over 32,000 girls across Canada – something we are so proud of! However, we are very aware of how our name and logo are very exclusive at times and do not create a welcoming and inclusive environment for many diverse girls, women, and non-binary individuals from equity-denied communities across Canada. The time and opportunity has finally come for us to align our mission and values with our branding and I could not be more excited,” says Gabriela Estrada, Executive Director at Fast and Female.
A fresh name, logo, and visual identity ensure we can authentically empower girls ages 8-20 through sport, physical activity, and education across Canada.
“Through this grant, Atom Studio will support us in building a solid foundation for our new brand identity that realigns with Fast and Female’s mission and values,” says Ally Garofalo, Communications Manager at Fast and Female.
We are excited to begin our rebranding process, which will include the following from Atom Studio:
- $20,000 in brand identity design services, ranging from a new logo, colours, typography, graphic elements, and a complete online brand toolkit
- Application of the new brand identity to Fast and Female’s next major fundraising campaign
- An additional $20,000+ in value-added services from Atom Studio’s partner organizations, including:
- Research strategy, insights, and a strategy session from Cashew Research
- Brand strategy development and story definition from Midtown Mystery
- Social media mentorship training from Beverley Theresa
