Athletics Manitoba is pleased to share that we are hosting the 2024 Coaches Retreat, March 22-25th at
the Pinewood Lodge, MB. This project is being hosted with support from Athletics Canada, MB Liquor and Lotteries and Sport MB Coaching through the Grey Cup Legacy Fund.
The event is open to coaches of all levels, from across the country. The one requirement is that all attendees embrace the guiding principles of the weekend, which are ~ Rest ~ Connect ~ Support ~ Learn
~ Grow ~.
Our overall goal is to create a space where coaches can expand their networks, learn with and from each other.
Questions that will be discussed include,
- How we can create environments that lead to positive experiences in coaching, and what are some of the many current barriers in coaching?
- How can we build systems that will better support up and coming coaches in our respective provinces and territories?
We want ALL coaches to play a role in building more inclusive and sustainable environments.
Registration costs are highly subsidized, thanks to the support provided by our partners. Group bus
transportation to and from Winnipeg and the Lodge will be provided for attendees, with all meals provided throughout the course of the weekend.
