The week of initiatives includes an event in Ottawa at the RA Centre on Wednesday, Sept. 27, for House of Sport NSOs and members of the sport community to try wheelchair basketball. The event, presented in partnership with Ottawa Tourism and the RA Centre, will take place from 3-5 pm. On Thursday, Sept. 28, WBC will host Hoopfest, presented by Toyota Canada, from noon to 5 pm at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. Hoopfest is WBC’s signature fundraising event.
