Seeking Host for 2023/24 BC Indigenous Athlete Development Camps

I·SPARC is seeking host community/organization partners: Interested First Nations, Métis Chartered Communities, Friendship Centres, and Indigenous organizations are invited to apply to be a host community for any of the events within the series of BC Indigenous Athlete Development Camps for the 2023/24 season.

The Provincial Camps series for 2023/24 will consist of a 1 or 2-day camp for each of the following sports:

  • Archery
  • Athletics (Track & Field)
  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Rifle Shooting
  • Swimming
  • Volleyball
  • Wrestling

The BC Indigenous Provincial Athlete Development Camps are an important component of the Provincial Strategy for Indigenous Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity. The events provide a unique opportunity for Indigenous (First Nations, Metis, and Inuit) athletes and coaches throughout the province to gather and compete in events that promote sport excellence while celebrating cultural unity and pride.

Host Application

Applications must be received before 4:00 pm Monday, July 31, 2023.
