Ultimate Canada is pleased to announce the locations of the 2023 Canadian Ultimate Championships. The Junior and Senior divisions will take place in Surrey, B.C. in August 2023, and will be hosted in partnership with the Vancouver Ultimate League and BC Ultimate. The Masters divisions will take place in Kelowna, B.C. in July, 2023 and will be hosted in partnership with the Kelowna Ultimate Players Society. Exact dates are being finalized.
First hosted in 1987, the Canadian Ultimate Championships series features 8 divisions competing for
national championships in 3 age categories: juniors, seniors, and masters. The championships feature top teams and players from coast-to-coast competing for national titles in preparation for the 2024 World Flying Disc Federation’s World Championships.
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Canadian Ultimate Championships returned in 2022 with events in Ottawa, Ontario and Brampton, Ontario. Ultimate Canada is excited to have the events go out west to B.C. in 2023. This will be the second time that the Championships have been hosted in Surrey and the first time that they will be hosted in Kelowna.
