September 18, 2025 – In just a few days, the second edition of the Coupe Hôtel-Casino de Charlevoix will take flight, with $25,000 at stake. The two champion duos, Billy Houle (Joliette) and William Blanchard (Rosemère-Fontainebleau) in the Championship category and Martin Plante (Balmoral) and Gregg Cuthill (Whitlock) in the Senior category, will be back to defend their respective titles.
Once again this year, there will be sparks flying at the Complexe Hôtel-Casino de Charlevoix as our teams promise spectacular play with plenty of birdies and eagles. Each of our champion teams will have to work hard to come out on top, as the other teams are determined to dethrone them.
During the May 28 qualifier at the Hériot Golf Club, William Blanchard and Billy Houle’s team posted the best score with a 61 (-11) in the Championship category and will therefore enter this final phase of the competition as favorites. In the senior division, Marc Foucault and Kevin Sénécal will once again be the top-ranked team thanks to their score of 64 (-8) in the qualifying round.

“In both the Championship and Senior categories, it’s hard to know who will come out on top in each bracket, but one thing is certain: the game format is unique, and all our players love it. We are fortunate to be able to enjoy the facilities at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu Golf Club, which is a spectacular course that allows our golfers to perform at a high level,” said Eric Couture, Executive Director of the PGA of Québec.
PRO-AM This Sunday, September 21, several amateurs will have the chance to be paired with one of the pros playing in the competition for a friendly 18-hole pro-am. It will be a festive day that allows amateurs to play at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu Golf Club, benefit from the advice of PGA of Québec professionals during 18 holes, and enjoy the hotel complex’s dining options.
A small competition will take place during this pro-am, and we promise you scores below par, as the 2024 champion teams played 58 (-14) in Vegas format.
This is a must-see event for all Québec golf enthusiasts who want to watch high-quality golf in an enchanting setting. Join us at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, where spectator access is free.
Thirty-two players from across the province will take part in this tournament, which offers a total purse of $25,000. The PGA of Québec would like to thank Le Complexe Hôtel-Casino de Charlevoix for hosting this unique event!
