Wheelchair Basketball Canada is pleased to announce a partnership with RAMP Interactive to launch the rollout of the national Member Management System (MMS) for clubs, associations and provincial/territorial sport organizations (PTSOs) across the country.  Starting this fall, the new MMS will be available for use and will provide a comprehensive digital platform of tools to support clubs, minor associations, and teams across Canada.

As a platform, the MMS aims to connect the wheelchair basketball system in the country further while driving additional value to everyone involved in wheelchair basketball across Canada. Clubs and administrators will gain free access to the system to support player and coach registration and team assignment, communication tools, and strong financial management and reporting. Players, parents, and coaches will benefit from one simplified registration system that can also provide access to national partnership discounts and benefits.

“Wheelchair Basketball Canada is thrilled about the launch of this new national Member Management System. It’s not just a powerful online tool for registration, communication, and reporting, but a game-changer for our operations,” said Sean Liebich, Program Manager at Wheelchair Basketball Canada. “The system will streamline a number of processes at WBC, enhancing the connection, safety, and accessibility of our sport system and opening up new possibilities for the future of wheelchair basketball in Canada.”

“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting partnership with Wheelchair Basketball Canada to deliver a comprehensive Member Management System,” said Brad Kronewitt, President of RAMP Interactive. “This collaboration underscores RAMP InterActive’s commitment to empowering sports organizations with cutting-edge technology that enhances efficiency and connectivity. Through this platform, we aim to elevate the basketball experience for participants across Canada and contribute to the growth of the sport.”

With this partnership, Wheelchair Basketball Canada will provide free access to the RAMP Registration System for these PTSOs and their member clubs. Beyond registration capabilities, member organizations will also benefit from a wide array of system functions to support their programs, including (but not limited to):

  • Team management
  • Tournament and camp registration
  • Team and club communication
  • Efficient reporting
  • Safe sport and coach education tracking
  • Background check monitoring

RAMP will host onboarding and training webinars for local clubs, with each adopting PTSO and Wheelchair Basketball Canada to demonstrate the MMS’s functionality and answer questions.

Wheelchair Basketball Canada will continue working with other provinces and territories to add future program signatories and drive benefits to their development programs and member clubs.
