VNL 2025 host cities, pools and ticket information

Dec. 10, 2024: Mark your calendars! In preparation for the highly anticipated Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2025, Volleyball World has announced the host cities, pool matchups, team schedules, and ticketing details for next year’s expanded and refreshed edition of the tournament.

The Arena at TD Place will host women’s week 1 from June 4 to 8 in Ottawa, Ontario. In addition to Team Canada, Japan, Netherlands, Serbia, Dominican Republic and Bulgaria will compete in the Nation’s Capital.

Quebec City’s Centre Videotron will be the site for men’s week 1 from June 11 to 15 – joining Canada will be Italy, France (current Olympic champion), Argentina, Germany and Bulgaria.

Each team will play four times per week during the preliminary phase. Canada is hosing week one of three for both genders.

What’s New for VNL 2025?

Expansion from 16 to 18 teams per gender. China and Ukraine added to men’s teams; Czech Republic and Belgium are the new women’s teams.
A revamped preliminary phase with 216 matches played over three weeks.
Each team will compete in 12 matches with rotating pools across three host cities weekly.
Increased recovery and preparation time for athletes, ensuring high-energy performances.

Tickets:

We’re excited to launch an early pre-sale of full-event packages only for both locations as of Tuesday, December 10 @ 10AM EST (via venue mailing lists).

Full event packages offer up to 25 percent off a single day price. Single tickets will be sold closer to the event date in 2025.

The public will have access to the packages on Dec. 12 (Quebec) and Dec. 13 (Ottawa).
