[Victoriaville, August 11, 2025] – From August 14 to 17, the Victoriaville Golf Club will host the 12th edition of the Victoriaville-Fenergic Canada Cup, a key event on the Canadian golf calendar that will bring together several high-caliber professional and amateur players.
This year, the competition will welcome the five former champions of the event. Ontario’s Brendan Leonard (2018), Nova Scotia’s Eric Banks, Newfoundland’s Blair Bursey (2021), the US’s Jake Scott (2022), and Ontario’s Maxwell Sear (2024) will all be ready to try to win another title in what is sure to be a highly competitive environment. The field is complete and promises a fierce battle right down to the last roll.
Among those registered, golfers from across Canada, the United States, and even England will come to compete against the best. Several PGA Tour Americas golfers will also be in attendance, including:
- Joey Savoie – 2022 Beaconsfield Spring Open Champion
- Brandon Lacasse – 2025 Beaconsfield Spring Open Champion
- Jake Scott – 2022 Victoriaville-Fenergic Canada Cup Champion
Several renowned Québec golfers will also be competing, including Yohann Benson, William Blanchard, and Max Gilbert, all aspiring to follow in the footsteps of the first Québec winner of the tournament, Étienne Papineau (2023).
With total prize money of $140,000, including $35,000 for the champion, the Victoriaville-Fenergic Canada Cup continues to attract the elite and raise its status as one of the most coveted tournaments in the country.
A professional tournament format
The format is inspired by major tournaments: four rounds with a cut after two days of play. Only the top 60 players and ties will advance to rounds 3 and 4.
