Tennis Canada to Launch Spectacular Drone Shows in Montreal and Toronto to Kick Off 2023 National Bank Open Presented By Rogers

TORONTO, ON (July 28, 2023) – Tennis Canada has partnered with Canadian Traffic Network ULC (CTN) and Skyworx Drone Shows (Skyworx) to help launch the festivities of this year’s National Bank Open presented by Rogers in style with two epic drone shows. Taking place in Montreal on Sunday, July 30 and in Toronto on Friday, August 4, fans will be able to Feel Tennis as they watch 500 synchronized drones light up the night’s sky.

CTN and Skyworx’s team of world-class engineers, pilots and artists have created numerous immersive and breathtaking shows across the world, including at the 2023 Australian Open and at Fenway Park . The drones will create a mesmerizing light show in the sky that will continually evolve to project various shapes and animations, with themes related to tennis and the National Bank Open.

In Montreal, fans will be able to watch the 12-minute show from the Old Port, where it will begin between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. In Toronto, fans are encouraged to gather at Woodbine Park and/or Woodbine Beach in order to best take in the 12-minute show, that will start between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. The NBO social channels will provide an exact time within 24 hours of the show.
