Team Canada Arrives in Monteria for the 2025 Women’s Softball Pan American Championship

Monteria, Colombia – Canada’s Women’s National Team has touched down in Monteria, Colombia, set to compete at the 2025 Women’s Pan American Championship with a WBSC World Cup Group Stage berth on the line.

The championship runs from June 27 to July 4, and will feature fifteen teams from across the Americas, divided into three groups for round-robin play.

Canada (no.6) has been placed in Group A alongside Peru (no.16), Colombia (no.31), , Argentina (no.32), and Chile (no.52). Group B includes Mexico (no.9), Cuba (no.17), Brazil (no.27), the Dominican Republic (no.35), and the U.S. Virgin Islands (no.58). Group C features, Puerto Rico (no.3), Venezuela (no.20), Guatemala (no.37), El Salvador (no.47), and Aruba (no.63).

With strong competition ahead, Team Canada is prepared to build on last year’s success as they open their 2025 international season on the world stage.
