“We are confident that our Junior athletes are ready to perform in Sofia. The Pan American Championships served as an opportunity to plan, prepare, execute, and now adjust for the World Taekwondo event.” said Dr. Allan Wrigley, High Performance Director for Taekwondo Canada. “In Costa Rica, we challenged the team to focus on the process and pathway to performance. We are going to continue to emphasize this in Sofia, as we are looking for how these athletes are going to set themselves up for continual improvement in future years, not just on the results that they are able to achieve in the moment.”
The team will further be supported by the Team Leader/Manager Dr. Allan Wrigley, Head of Team Kee Ha, and Trainer Yohan Chang, along with Athletic Therapist Rick Lau.
