*Medalist at the 2022 Senior Pan American Championships.
“While the 2022 season had a challenging start with numerous event postponements and changes, our athletes have shown great resilience and the ability to perform on demand when opportunities arose.” said Dr. Allan Wrigley, High Performance Director for Taekwondo Canada. “Building off 8 medals at the Pan American Championships in early May, our Senior athletes have been consistently achieving medal performances at World Taekwondo calendar events throughout the summer and fall. We are not looking for anything different heading down to Guadalajara. Our athletes will continue to follow their processes and be ready to translate that level of consistency to the World Championship stage and perform at their best.”
The team will further be supported by the Head of Team Dr. Allan Wrigley, National Team Physician Dr. Terry DeFreitas and Athletic Therapist Marya Phan.
