OTTAWA, ON – Archery Canada is thrilled to announce the team representing Canada at the World Archery Youth Championships, happening from August 17 to 25 in Winnipeg, MB. With the event happening on home soil, the organization is proud to name twenty-three athletes, with five alternates.

This team has a mix of both new and experienced young archers, with Polowaniuk, Mathers, Crawford, Hoy, Hawash, Oliver, Wilson, Ng, and Sahota all attending previous international events. The new athletes will be looking to make a splash in their home country and also learn more about performing at this high performance level.
The coaching staff is also experienced. On the recurve side, Janice Clark has worked with Team Canada before, including most recently at the 2025 South American Open and Stephanie Barrett is a former Olympian and international archer. On the compound side, Dawn Groszko has worked with international teams before and is a silver medallist herself; Nick Fogg is a development coach that will gain vital experience to support Canadian archers at such a high profile event.
