Softball Canada Announces 2024 WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Roster

Ottawa, Ont. - Softball Canada and the Women’s National Team coaching staff are thrilled to unveil the roster for the Canadian Women’s National Team, set to compete in the 2024 WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup from July 15-20 in Castions di Strada, Italy.

Ranked fifth in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings, Team Canada secured their spot in the World Cup Finals after an impressive second-place finish at the 2023 WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Group C tournament held in Buttrio and Castions di Strada, Italy.

“I am very excited about this year’s team. We have a great mix of veteran and younger athletes just starting their journey with this team. This was one of the most competitive camps we have had in my tenure, and I look forward to seeing them represent Canada at this year’s World Championships,” shared Head Coach Kaleigh Rafter.

The selected roster boasts a mix of seasoned talent and fresh faces, featuring 12 athletes from the 2023 World Cup Group Stage team and 4 newcomers making their World Cup debut.
