“We are lucky to have such a deep talent pool in Canada,” said Shelley Coolidge, Ringette Canada’s Director of Sport. “It has been a challenge to narrow it down to only twenty athletes, but we are thrilled to compete in Finland with the group that has been selected.”

“It has been a privilege working with Canada’s top U18 ringette athletes and supporting their growth this summer,” said assistant coach Daina Seymour. “The next phase of their journey in Finland will push them further, offering an unforgettable opportunity to continue developing alongside some of the best ringette players in the world.”

“It feels great to be selected, it’s such an honour,” said athlete Paige Doody, from Halifax, NS. “All the hard work has paid off. I’m looking forward to playing with this group; everyone is so nice, and I think we’ll play well together. Also playing against different groups internationally, it’s going to be so fast and great. I’d like to thank my family, my coaches Jody Tretheway and Scott McDonald, and all my teammates back home, as well as coach Tracey Tulloch.”

Danielle Brassington (Vancouver, BC) and Tracey Tulloch (Halifax, NS) lead the team as Head Coaches. Assistant Coaches are Jessica Boisvert (Ottawa, ON), Sarah Ianni (Toronto, ON), Caley Mineault (Calgary, AB), and Daina Seymour (Regina, SK). Caitlyn Brannon (Ottawa, ON)  is the team’s mental performance coach, Ulkar Mammadova (Calgary, AB) and Isabelle McConaghy (Edmonton, AB) are the team’s athletic therapists. Melanie Thomas (Edmonton, AB) is the skating coach, Danica Vangsgaard (Calgary, AB) is the team’s strength and conditioning coach, and Peggy Pratt (Ottawa, ON) is the team manager.
