Reminder: Last Call for Board Nominations and Umpire Applications

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is looking for skilled and dynamic leaders to join our Board of Directors.

We are currently seeking nominations to fill three positions to be elected to the RCA Board of Directors at the 2023 Annual Meeting on September 21, 2023.

The RCA Nominating Committee is looking for people of diverse backgrounds who will bring a broader perspective to our want to be actively involved and engaged in a dynamic organization.  This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about RCA’s Vision, Values and Strategic Priorities.

The Nominating Committee is tasked with recruiting a slate of qualified candidates for election for the above Director at Large positions. The RCA By-laws direct the committee to put forward at least one more nominee than the available number of vacancies. The initial slate of candidates put forward by the Nominating Committee will be published on August 7, 2023.

RCA Umpires Committee:

Call for Applications

APPLICATIONS CLOSE – JULY 7, 2023

Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals to fill a volunteer position on the RCA Umpires Committee.

The mandate of the Umpires Committee is to ensure that there is a robust cadre of Canadian Umpires with the appropriate education and development to ensure safety and fairness at all rowing competitions in Canada, and to represent Canada at international rowing competitions governed by World Rowing (formerly FISA).

The Committee is interested in individuals with a diverse range of backgrounds.

Interested umpires should submit a resume and a letter explaining how their skills and abilities match the described characteristics, as well as, why they would be a suitable candidate to fill this volunteer role.
