Dear Rowing Canada Aviron stakeholder,
Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) has undertaken a review of the practice of having a lightweight rowing category in the Under 19 age group. In 2022, RCA launched an Under 19 Lightweight Working Group to carry out this mandate.
To better understand the experiences of those who have competed in Under 19 lightweight rowing, we would like to hear from former Under 19 lightweight rowers about this issue. In addition to these groups, we would also benefit immensely from the perceptions of former open weight rowers. By collecting a broad range of experiences and perspectives of Under 19 rowers, the results of this survey will help indicate how to improve and promote the future of youth rowing in Canada.
