Pan Am Championships Recurve Selection Camp 

CAMBRIDGE, ON – This month, from September 22 to 25, the Archery Canada Centre of Excellence in Cambridge, ON, twenty-six (26) recurve athletes, 10 females and 16 males, will be attending the Pan American Championships Recurve Selection Camp, to determine the recurve target archery team heading to the Pan Am Championships in Santiago, Chile, later this year. The registration was open throughout the summer and the attendees are listed below:

The camp will be run by the High Performance team at Archery Canada: Shawn Riggs, National Recurve Coach; Soha Mahmoud, Junior Recurve Coach; and Alan Brahmst, High Performance Director. More details about scheduling will be released closer to the event. This is the first time that we are running an event at Archery Canada’s new training facility, which will serve as a preview for other high performance events that will take place there. This team is an important one for the high performance program, as the Pan Am Championships are the best opportunity to secure spots for the 2023 Pan American Games, also taking place in Santiago.
