Olympic Gymnast Ellie Black and Coach David Kikuchi to Deliver Keynote to Canada’s Top Sport Scientists and Researchers at Annual Own the Podium SPIN Summit in Richmond, B.C

RICHMOND, B.C.—Three-time Olympic gymnast, Ellie Black, along with her coach, David Kikuchi, will be the closing speakers at the 2022 SPIN Summit in Richmond, B.C., December 9 at 2 p.m. PST.

On the heels of winning their historic World Championship silver medal, Black and Kikuchi will speak to positive culture and wellness in sport to the more than 250 of Canada’s top sport scientists, researchers, medical professionals, executives and coaches who will gather on Canada’s west coast at the 17th annual Own the Podium SPort INnovation (SPIN) Summit themed “Health, Culture and Technology.”

Designed to merge the art of coaching with the science of sport in an effort to advance performance at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, SPIN is Canada’s cutting-edge symposium for professional development and networking in the areas of applied sport science, sport medicine, and innovation that attracts experts from around the globe.

Media are invited to attend the final day of the conference, which will include applied workshops at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel before culminating with a presentation from Black and Kikuchi.
