Canadian Women & Sport is gathering data on the current trends in sport participation for women, girls and gender diverse individuals. Your insights will help us form recommendations to keep girls playing.
There are currently two surveys we are looking to gather information on:

An organizational survey for sport leaders across Canada. (Bonus – if you complete the survey, you have a chance to win a $250 gift card to Sport Chek.)

An individual survey for women, girls and gender diverse individuals aged 6-18 and their parents/guardians.
The data we collect in these surveys will be compiled into the Rally Report and used to inform, educate, and inspire action across Canada and to keep girls in sport. If you’re curious to learn more about the Rally Report, you can find the 2020 report here.
Both surveys close on Oct. 7, 2022.
Upcoming Opportunities
- Canadian Women & Sport will be opening applications to our Community Sport for All spotlight grants in mid-October 2022. Community-based groups will be invited to submit their proposals in coming weeks. Funded projects will help reduce barriers to sport participation and retention for girls, women and nonbinary people who are from Black, Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQQIA+, low-income and newcomer populations, as well as people with disabilities. Organizational Updates
- Applications are now closed for this Same Game Challenge cohort, made possible thanks to funding support from Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities. Canadian Women & Sport and Jumpstart will be partnering to deliver five cohorts to reach 240 organizations for the Same Game Challenge over the coming years which will offer sport, physical activity and recreation organizations across Canada more opportunities to participate.
