National Team Selection Event Set for Brossard

WINNIPEG (Friday, November 14, 2025) – Play begins Friday, November 21 at the National Team Selection Event, hosted at Nautilus Plus in Brossard, Québec. The tournament runs November 21 and 22.

This event is the first selection tournament of the 2025–2026 season for high-performance athletes from across Canada competing for national and international team positions. The tournament also features divisions for players of all ages and skill levels.

The Open Divisions will showcase Canada’s top racquetball athletes, including Québec’s Samuel Murray and Frédérique Lambert, the number-one-ranked male and female Canadian players. Several other divisions will provide competition for developing and recreational athletes.

Results from the Open Divisions will be used to determine the athletes representing Canada at the 2026 Pan American Championships and the 2026 World Championships.

Racquetball Canada, together with the local host committee, hope to provide live coverage of Open Division matches on Facebook and YouTube. As this is a new host facility for streaming, the broadcast capacity has not yet been tested. Updates, including links to any live or commentated coverage, will be shared on Racquetball Canada’s social media channels.

Racquetball Canada thanks Nautilus Plus, Racquetball Québec, and the local organizing committee led by Michel Gagnon for their support.

Draws will be released closer to the event, with final draws and results available here: https://secure.racquetballcanada.ca/event/FallSelection2025
