Let the Games Begin at Lima 2019 Pan American Games

Sail Canada – Let the games begin at
Lima 2019 Pan American Games

July 27th, 2019 – Lima, Peru

The 2019 Pan American Games kicked off last night in Lima, Peru.

Canadians gathered at the National Stadium, decked out in red and white ready to represent the country. Lead by the flag bearer, Scott Tupper, our Canadian sailors made their way to the front of the pack with pride and joy.

While half the team flew in early for the Opening Ceremony, the rest will be flying in on Monday gathering the entirety of the team in Paracas, Peru. Allowing enough time to get settled, the sailors will be able to get their boats ready and get a feel for the conditions before racing beings on August 3rd.
