Join us to say #ThanksCoach during National Coaches Week 2022

Ottawa, ON, September 17, 2022  Welcome to National Coaches Week, a time to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities across Canada. Equestrian Canada (EC) is joining other National Sport Organizations, Provincial and Territorial Sport Bodies, Universities and Clubs to celebrate the eighth annual event from September 17 25, 2022.

With virtual activities held across the country to celebrate coaching, we encourage everyone to get involved and give coaches the much-deserved recognition for the time, energy and resources they devote to ensuring Canadians live an active, healthy lifestyle.

Coaches Matter! Get involved and share your support!

EC will be participating in activities throughout the week on our social media channels to show support for our hard-working and dedicated coaches:

  • Nominate your coach for a chance to win them one of three personalized coaching jackets or vests. We want to know what makes them such a great coach!

  • Providing free and discounted National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and ECampus online professional development programs

  • Instagram stories feature, where you can share with our community your coaches name and tag us so we can share their success

The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) has shared a list of local and virtual events that are available throughout the week – click here for more information and follow the CAC social media channels, use the hashtags #CoachesWeek and #ThanksCoach, and stay up to date with everything happening by visiting www.coach.ca/nationalcoachesweek
