OTTAWA, ON (November 7, 2025) – Jean William Prévost delivered a standout performance at the 2025 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Riyadh, claiming silver in the BMX Freestyle Flatland Men’s Elite final.
The podium finish marks a personal best result for the Canadian and builds on his historic bronze from last year’s championship in Abu Dhabi. Prévost earned a score of 89.33 points in the final, delivering a run that showcased his signature speed, control, originality, and technical precision.
Prévost was one of two athletes representing Canada at the 2025 Urban Cycling World Championships in the BMX Freestyle Flatland category. His silver marks a defining moment for this national team, exemplifying Canada’s strength and versatility across urban cycling disciplines. Fellow Canadian Jean-François Boulianne also made the finals, earning a strong seventh-place finish.
