Gymnastics Canada Announces Official Team Representing Canada at the Junior World Championships in Manila

Ottawa, ON (October 29, 2025) – Gymnastics Canada is proud to announce the members of the men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics teams that will represent Canada at the Junior World Championships, taking place November 20–24, 2025, in Manila, Philippines. 

This event, organized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), will bring together the best young athletes aged 14 to 18 from around the world. The competition aims to provide young gymnasts with valuable international experience, serving as an important milestone in their progression toward the senior ranks. 

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics

  • Taya Macey, ON (alternate athlete)* 

*Note: Stella Letendre was originally selected to the Junior World Championship Team, with Taya Macey named as alternate. However, due to injuries, both athletes are unable to compete. As a result, Aila McKinley (AB), will join the team and fill the final spot.
