Rowing Canada – ParticipACTION recently announced micro-grants available to support their Community Better Challenge, taking place between May 31st- June 16th, 2019. 

Information about the challenge and how to apply for micro-grants ranging from $250-$1000 is found online.  

RCA Member Clubs and Associations are eligible to apply for these micro-grants. Applications are due March 1st, 2019.  

ParticipACTION has confirmed that one-day and multiple day events are permitted.  

In an effort to connect more Canadians with rowing, RCA is encouraging our member organizations to consider hosting an event and applying for these micro-grants.   

A great way to get involved would be hosting a ‘Come and Try’ event.
A total of 66 ‘Come and Try’ events have been held since April 1st, 2018.   

The RCA fee to host a Come and Try Event will be $75, effective April 1st, 2019.
