Gender Equity Playbook – October Cohort

Canadian Women & Sport is recruiting organizations located in Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Nova Scotia to participate in the Gender Equity Playbook. The program is designed to help sport leaders on their gender equity journey through a collaborative review and assessment of organization policies, programs, and practices.

The program runs from October 16, 2023 to January 19, 2024 and includes:

  • Six (6) hours of virtual consultation & action planning.
  • Four (4) hours of organization-guided preparation work.
  • Organizations will walk away with an Action Tool Kit designed to help them prioritize their work.
  • A $1,000 honorarium upon completion of the program.

Organizations who are interested in participating in the October 2023 cohort are encouraged to watch this 20-minute Playbook Introduction Video and then complete an online Application Form where they will build an organization profile and answer a Readiness Questionnaire.

For more information on the Gender Equity Playbook program, please contact Tasia McKenna at tasia.mckenna@womenandsport.ca.

Applications for this cohort will be accepted up to Friday, October 13.
