Four Canadian Skaters to Compete in Italy at Junior Grand Prix #3

Ottawa, ON (Sept. 2, 2025) – Four promising young skaters will be representing Canada at the third competition in the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series, taking place from Sept. 3-6, 2025, in Varese, ITA.

Ice dancers Summer Homick and Nicholas Buelow will step on the ice for their first international assignment of the season after capturing the silver medal at the 2025 NextGen Competition. The duo made their international debut in 2024 at the JGP in Poland, finishing in seventh position.

Joining them in Italy is David Bondar, fresh off a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Cranberry Cup International. The junior men’s national champion will look to improve on his fifth-place finish in the 2024 Junior Grand Prix series.

Ksenia Krouzkevitch, the junior women’s national silver medallist, will round out the Canadian team. She will make her Junior Grand Prix debut in the women’s event after showing early promise at the 2025 NextGen Competition where she earned the bronze medal.
