Equestrian Canada Wants Your Feedback on Canadian Equine Identification Program Development

Equestrian Canada – Equestrian Canada Wants Your Feedback on Canadian Equine Identification Program Development

Equestrian Canada (EC) would like to include your thoughts and feedback in the development of a new initiative, the Canadian Equine Identification Program (CEIP). The goal of the CEIP is to create an equine identification system that will act as the first step in the development of a future full-scale equine traceability system.

Questions, comments and feedback can be submitted by email to EC Manager of Welfare and Identification, Kristy House at khouse@equestrian.ca by Nov. 4, 2019.

In addition, an Equine ID Town Hall will be hosted on Nov. 3 during the 2019 EC Convention, where House and Doug Orr, EC Vice President and Chair of the EC Equine Health & Welfare Committee, will lead a question and comment period to solicit further feedback.
